The College Years
I graduated from the University of Delaware in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science. Interdisciplinary studies allowed me to focus in Nutrition, a subject which was very logical and interesting to me, while still taking classes in many other captivating fields such as Philosophy, Psychology and History. I minored in Spanish and even earned several credits studying abroad for 5 months at the University of Barcelona. Throughout my college experience I was offered and accepted a job at The Review, the college newspaper, as a weekly Cartoonist and Illustrator. The University experience in general was a positive one which prepared me (as much as possible) for the real world in my home "town", New York City.
2003-2004
After graduating from the University of Delaware, I did what any 21 year old thinks is the best job out there, I bartended in NYC for a year. I soon realized the life style was not for me and that I had a lot more creativity inside of me than can be poured into drinks. Nevertheless, I began working at The O Group, a small yet successful Graphic Design/Advertising agency in NYC. I was hired as an Administrative Assistant/ Executive Assistant to the President and eventually took on one more role as a Promotions Account Manager. I wore many hats and enjoyed the creative environment. I was a multi tasker, a hard worker and quickly learned what it takes to hold an office together. I saw the importance of team work. Efficiency, optimism and a good sense of humor were the qualities that surfaced within me when working at this agency. Due to an unfortunate hand accident, I had to resign. I truly believe that in every bad there is some good and in this case it led me to my next job as a Personal Assistant.
2004-2006
I started working at Serendipity Consulting for Senia Feiner in November 2004. I became her Personal Assistant for 2 years and continue working with her part time until today. The job came naturally to me as I am very in tune with people and their needs. I helped her organize her life, which after a very misfortunate event, was in a state of disarray. Besides from typical daily duties, I also have been working on her taxes and the paper work that is necessary while she is being audited. Efficiency and problem solving were two very important qualities I possess that I consistently used. We also worked creatively together as I illustrated an innovative calendar for promotional purposes. By working as a Personal Assistant I have learned that a very special bond is made between employer and employee. Trust is key.

2006-2008
Last but not least, the present. Here I am, back in NYC after a year and 8 months of living, learning and working abroad in the Southern Hemisphere. In 3 months I learned Spanish fluently. In 6 months I was teaching English to business men and women and within a year I was working in a Boutique hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina interacting with travelers from all over the world. Problem solving in another language became second nature, and believe me, there are a plenty of problems that arise in hotel, let alone in a developing country.
During my work as a hotel manager of Casa Monserrat, I met a traveler from South Africa who asked me to come work for his guest house on a vineyard in Capetown. After much research and negotiations, I was off to a continent, I have never been to but always dreamed to go.
Thrown into a new culture, foreign language and living/working with complete strangers I eventually found my comfort and place on the vineyard. A surprise job was given to me when they explained that a reality TV show was going to be filmed on the farm during my stay there. Not only did I see to over 40 people by accomodating them comfortably on Montpellier Vineyard, after watching how I worked with the hotel, I was offered a job to work as a Production Assistant for Revlon Super Model Reality TV Show. Pre, during and post production. When the show was over, my time on the farm was up so here I am, back in the present, in NYC.
